Brook sat on the banks of the pond, gazing across the waters with bright amber eyes. She lay her tail over her paws, waiting for another wolf to come in. She puffed up her chest fur to keep out some of the night time coldness.

Brook turned her head at the sound of another wolf entering. She blinked her amber eyes at him once, before returning her gaze to the waters.
