"You aren't a chosen one!" She screams, pouncing on Vineclaw and sinking her teeth in her neck. "I was! And now who's gonna fufill the prophecy?! That was my only fucking litter!" She screams through her fur, eyes blazing with rage.

Leafpelt felt the limp body of the pup. "Its dead!" She screams, her voice ebbed with grief. She presses the pup towards her chest, tears rolling down her face. ".. Its dead.." She sobbed, looking down at the broken little body of the pup. "Dead." She wailed, tossing her head back in grief, her wails echoing through the land.

Leafpelt growls at her. "Get away from my pup!" She yowls, headbutting Vineclaw away. "Spiral!" She howls over the horizon, calling for her one and only friend that she could actually trust.

Leafpelt flopped down on the floor beside her dead pup. She rolled a tongue over it, trying not to cry. The one thing that she needed right now was a friend; more than anything.

Emeraldstream padded out of her mother's den, tail and head held low. Rain was beginning to fall, splashing in the puddles all around her. She lifted her muzzle towards the skies, her eyes dappled with grief. "Why?! Why do I have live through such things?!" She demanded to the skies, rain landing on her nose. "Why?!" She demanded again, ending in snarl. "I know I'm different, but why do so many have to be after me?!" She screams, the rain falling even harder. A tear dribbled down her snout, landing on the floor with a 'plop'.

The pup finally sat down, staring at her paws, before raising her muzzle to the skies. She wanted to howl until all her problems went away; but the pup couldn't. It'd alert Darkfang and all else who wanted her that she was still alive and where she was. Instead, she sighed, her gaze lowering to her paws. "Why am I different from all else? Why?" She asks herself, the rain falling heavier. She knew that Starbuck wanted answers. She knew. Starbuck knew who she really was; and there was no hiding it.

Emeraldstream raises her muzzle to the skies once more, parting her jaws as if she were to howl. But she didn't; for her own safety. The rain was falling hard now; but that didn't matter to her. The pup longed to howl so badly, but she restrained herself from doing so.

Sorrow and grief clawed at Leafpelt's heart as she gazed down at the pup's broken body, causing her to flop over and burst into a fit of sobbing. She had tried and tried to not cry, but she had failed.

"I can't.." Emeraldstream croaked at last, voice ebbed with sadness. "I don't have any answers, okay?!" She growled, standing up and snarling. "I don't know who or what Nifthernia was! I've never heard of them!" She screamed, growling.

"I'll never understand!" Emeraldstream screams, batting the mouse away with a swift swipe of her paw. "Nobody even wants me around! Not even my pack!" She yowls, lips curled in a snarl. "Why does everyone want to kill me?!" She growled, voice ebbed with sadness.

"But killing her would be killing me!" She screams, baring her knife-sharp teeth in anger. "I can't live happily with my little sister dead!" She growls.

"I don't want to fight!" She screams, launching herself at Starbuck, the two tumbling across the rain covered ground. "I just want to be happy, but I can't due to a wolf before my time that did something wrong!" She growled in her face.
