Tathris' Burial

Kaenen drags Tathris' body along the floor, trying to hold back tears. Finally, Kaenen lay her body in the middle of the clearing, sitting down beside her body. Tathris' body was well groomed, and Valeria stood next to her dead mother, grieving and grooming her at the same time. Valeria went to sit next to her father, gazing down at Tathris with her usual silver coloured eyes.

Jel stood there nearly in tears. He saw how his father was holding his tears back and Jel did the same. He couldnt live without his mother. She was a god to him and it hurt him inside to think he would never hear her protective voice again. He growled and ran to Eaglesong and snarled at him. "Why didnt you do anything??!?! You could of saved her!" He screamed at him. Eaglesong just stood there looking at her limp body not speaking to Jel.

Valeria lifted herself up, walking over her her brother. She nuzzled him softly for encouragement, holding back tears. "It wasn't his fault. It was that omega," she said encouragingly.

Jel barked. "Y-you could of helped!" He snobbed Tears running down his face. He fell to the floor crying and whining. For his mother. Eaglesong watched the pup sadly a tear tear falling to the ground. "I sorry.." He mumbled.

Valeria lay her muzzle on her brothers back. "Mother is looking over us, remember that. When we fight that omega to kill her, we'll have mother's strength behind us," she said hopefully, though something sounded uncertain in her voice.

Jel's snobbing decreased a bit. And turned into anger over the Omega. "When we find her...Ill kill her for mother." He whined.

"Thats the brother I know," Valeria said, nuzzling him. "Remember though, she will be tough. We'll have to all work as a family," she said softly, turnign to look at Eaglesong. "It isn't your fault," she said, smiling.

Kanu came here from the field of flowers. her anger changed to sadness. " T-Tathris? she's dead?" she njugded the limp body. "what happened? who did this?" she asked, hoping she wasnt hurting anyone.

Jel stood up and nodded. He wiped away his tears and stood proudly. "Thank you" He forced a smile.

Eaglesong nodded. "Your family will beat her you know..She will pay for this." He said smiling at the pups.

"If you see a black and red wolf with bat-like wings; don't trust her. She is Darkfang. She killed our mother," Valeria mumbled, going back to grooming Tathris' body.

A dark figure slinks through the darkness " Well, Well, well, if it isn't the Fire pack come to Grandma tathris' funeral " Says Darkfang, laughing cruely, walking out to face the other, rabbits carcasses slung on her back " Here, have one on the house " Darkfang says, throwing the rotten one to Valeria, smirking.

Valeria sniffs at the rabbit, her nose wrinkling. "Thats a rotten one. Trying to kill me now, are you?" She growls, flinging the rabbit at Darkfang.
